Garam’s practice encompasses a broad range of business litigation. Prior to founding Choe & Mateo, Garam worked at several nationally recognized law firms representing institutional and individual investors on securities, corporate, and antitrust matters. 

While in law school, Garam worked at the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office where he assisted prosecuting cyber crime and identity thefts and at the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority where he assisted in bringing enforcement actions against financial firms and their associated persons. 

Garam received his law degree from St. John’s University School of Law, where he received a merit-based scholarship covering the full cost of tuition. Additionally, Garam was an active member of the Moot Court Honor Society, through which he successfully competed in various competitions. Garam was the first place winner, best brief writer, and best oralist for the Elaine Jackson Stack Moot Court Competition hosted by the Nassau County Bar Association. Garam continues to mentor law students through the St. John’s Moot Court Honor Society.
