Santino's practice focuses on criminal defense and complex civil litigation, where he has represented clients ranging from corporate executives facing sensitive allegations to companies navigating high-stakes disputes. He has taken on matters of national visibility and local impact, including criminal and civil litigation connected to major public controversies, as well as disputes in Michigan’s automotive and healthcare industries.

Santino has represented automotive corporate clients in supply chain and reimbursement disputes involving prominent automotive manufacturers, defended a large physicians’ group in fiduciary duty and contract claims brought by institutional entities, and handled arbitration against a publicly traded healthcare company. Prior to co-founding Choe & Mateo, Santino operated a successful solo practice, building a reputation as a trusted advocate in both trial and arbitration forums.

Santino earned his J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law, where he distinguished himself in trial advocacy. While in law school, he served as a student prosecutor in the Queens County District Attorney’s Office Domestic Violence Division, where he managed sensitive and challenging cases requiring discretion and judgment.

He is a proud Spartan and enjoys spending time with his wife and rescue dog.
